Applications

+Blue is used to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in vehicles with diesel engines equipped with SCR catalytic systems. It is NOT a fuel additive and should not be mixed into the fuel tank. Instead, it is placed in the vehicle’s special AdBlue® tank. It is sprayed into the exhaust pipe before the exhaust gas reaches the catalyst and due to the high temperature, it breaks down into ammonia, which passing through the catalyst reacts with the nitrogen oxides, and the products of the reaction are nitrogen and water vapor, which are non-harmful elements for the atmosphere.
