Applications
It is the ideal choice:
- For the lubrication of industrial steam turbines and gas turbines requiring mineral oil.
- For centrifugal, axial and dynamic turbochargers and pumps.
- For high temperature circulation systems operating with long oil change intervals.
They are suitable for many applications (air compressors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, bearings, etc.), which require R&O lubricant.
Properties – Benefits
- They show excellent resistance to oxidation and thermal breakdown.
- High resistance to foaming combined with rapid release of air from the oil reduces the possibility of pump cavitation.
- They have excellent water separation properties so that excess water, common in steam turbines, can be easily drained from a lubricated system.
- They drastically reduce sludge formation.
